Terms of Reservation

Equipment

The villa is owned by 5 Danish families. We are very fond of it and hope that it will be used with care.
The house is equipped for 8 persons. Llinen, towels, and dishtowels is rented from the ownwers. It is not allowed to occoupy the villa by more than 8 persons.
The house has a phone. Payment for outgoing calls will be settled after S.C.I Biot Danmark has received the specification from the French phone company.

Arrival and departure

The rental period is normally from Saturday at 4 pm until the following Saturday at 11 am. The keys will be sent to the guests together with driving directions and instructions for the house one week before the arrival or as agreed.

Cleaning

You are asked to clean the house before leaving according to the owners instructions.

Reservation and payment

When the renter has returned the rental contract to the the owner, it will be binding for both parties on conditions of payment of 30% of the price to the owner no later than 8 days after the contract is received.
If this payment is not received the booking will be cancelled.

The outstanding balance is payable no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival. If not received by this time the booking will be cancelled. If the house is booked lees than 8 weeks before the arrival date, the renter must pay the full amount to confirm the booking.

Cancellation

If a cancellation occurs more than 8 weeks before the arrival date, a cancellation fee of 750 Danish Kroner/EURO 100 must be paid. 30% of the price will be refunded if there is a cancellation 8-4 weeks before the arrival date - as long as the house can be rented out again.
Money will not be refunded, if there is a cancellation later than 4 weeks before arrival date.

Deposit

A refundable deposit of 1.500 Danish Kroner / 200 Euro is to be paid at the same time that you pay the outstanding balance. The deposit will be refunded after your stay and after the house is checked for any breakage or missing inventory and when the bill from the French Telephone Company has been received. This is usually settled quarterly and can sometimes take 3-4 months before the account is received.
